THE INFLUENCE JOB SATISFACTION, ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THE EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE DEPARTMENT POLEWALI MANDAR DISTRIC

Abstract


This study aims to test and prove empirically: (1) Does job satisfaction affect employee performance; (2) Does organizational culture affect employee performance; (3) Does work motivation affect performance. Theoretically, the results of this study are expected to enrich and complete knowledge in the field of human resource management, especially regarding employee performance in the field of education so that it can be useful for academics and practitioners.The hypothesis in this study are: (1) It is suspected that there is an influence of job satisfaction on employee performance; (2) It is suspected that there is an influence of organizational culture on employee performance; (3) It is suspected that there is an influence of work motivation on employee performance. The population in this study was 40 employees, because the number was small, the number of samples studied was the same as the population, namely 40 employees. This study was analyzed through Multiple Linear Regression with the help of SPSS 23 software.The results of the study show that: (1) Job Satisfaction has an effect on employee performance, indicators of work performance are important in a government agency, because they are strictly regulated by the Civil Service Law, indicators of discipline and work morale are also very important so that progressiveness in work is maintained; (2) Organizational culture has an effect on employee performance, indicators of individual initiative can increase employee work enthusiasm, this is supported by management in improving employee performance, work culture values such as friendliness, effective discipline, fast, friendly, efficient are used as guidelines by employees to be able to increase productivity and performance in the context of implementing government, development and community service tasks; (3) Work motivation has an effect on employee performance at the Industry and Trade Service of Polewali Mandar Regency. Fulfillment of employee physiological needs is something that is very important including so that employees are motivated to work better, a sense of security, social needs, self-esteem needs and self-actualization needs can improve employee performance.
